Your site tells one story. Google tells another.

A crawler sees what your site shows. Search Console knows what Google does with it. Snaglist puts the two side by side, address by address. So you see not only what is broken, but also what Google turns down.

What you want to know.

Is Snaglist an alternative to Screaming Frog or Ahrefs?

For site audits, yes. Snaglist does one thing: it crawls your site in the cloud on a schedule, adds Search Console and turns it into reports for clients. Screaming Frog SEO Spider runs on your own computer and has more settings. Ahrefs and Semrush are full suites with backlinks and keyword research. Snaglist has neither.

What does a website crawler check?

A crawler visits every page of your site the way Google does and notes what is off. Snaglist runs 44 checks: broken pages and links, redirect chains, missing or duplicate titles and meta descriptions, headings, canonicals, images without alt text, orphan pages, structured data and response time.

Do I need Search Console?

No. The crawl always works. Connect your Search Console and Google's view is added: what is indexed, what is not, and why.

Will my site slow down?

No. Snaglist fetches one page at a time, with a pause in between, and follows robots.txt. Your visitors will not notice.

How often does Snaglist crawl my site?

Every week automatically, every day on Bureau. You pick the day and time yourself. If a lot of new pages appear, just start a crawl by hand in between.

Does it work with JavaScript sites?

Yes. Tick Render JavaScript and Snaglist reads the page the way a browser sees it.

Can I keep using my own sheets?

Yes. Every crawl gives CSV exports with the columns you already know.

Can I give reports in my own branding?

Yes, from Studio. Your logo, your fonts and your colours. On Bureau also without the line "Made with Snaglist".

Where is my data stored?

Your crawls and reports are stored in Frankfurt, in the EU. We sell nothing on and do not track you. Every service we use is in the privacy policy.

Can I cancel monthly?

Yes. Paying a year in advance is possible, and then you get two months free.

Which languages does Snaglist speak?

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Dutch. The reports too.
