Europe

Fully European. That's how we did it.

Snaglist runs entirely with European companies. The app and the database are in Amsterdam, the crawls run in Germany, and payments are processed via the Netherlands. Your data falls under European law, and no other. That wasn’t how we started. Below, you’ll find every transition we made, what is still American, and why.

Still American, and why

That deserves an explanation. We still use these US services.

Google Search Console

Snaglist shows you what Google does with your pages. This data only exists at Google, so we retrieve it from there on your behalf, and only if you connect your site.

Bing IndexNow

Publish your new pages, and Snaglist will notify Bing and other search engines. That is the search engine itself, not a service we run.

LinkedIn

Most European entrepreneurs and businesses are on LinkedIn, so we are too. Snaglist also talks on Mastodon, run by a foundation in Berlin.

Claude Code

We build Snaglist with the help of Claude Code by Anthropic. This is a tool on our own computer, not part of the service. Snaglist does not run on it.
