Why it matters

Google has seen the page and found it not useful enough, too similar to another page, or not matching what it expects. Without a change, it will stay out.

How Snaglist checks it

With Search Console connected, Snaglist lists every page with the status crawled, currently not indexed. It adds whether the page is in the sitemap and any risk Snaglist found itself, such as thin text or a near duplicate.

Common causes

• Thin or very general text
• Content that closely resembles another page
• Text in a language that does not match the page
• Few internal links to the page

How to fix it

1. Check the risk Snaglist shows next to the page.
2. Make the page clearly better or more distinct than similar pages.
3. Merge it with a stronger page if it adds little.
4. Request indexing again after the change.
