Warning

Risk of not being indexed

Snaglist expects Google might not index this page. It is thin, very similar to another page, or written in another language than the address suggests.

Why it matters

These are the most common reasons for the status crawled, currently not indexed. Fixing them before Google decides saves weeks.

How Snaglist checks it

Snaglist combines its own measurements per indexable page: fewer than 300 words by default, overlap with another page, and the language of the text compared with the language in the address. The reasons are listed per page.

Common causes

  • Short pages
  • Copied or templated pages
  • An English page with Dutch text, or the other way round

How to fix it

  1. Read the reasons per page.
  2. Add own content, or merge with a similar page.
  3. Make sure the text matches the language of the address.
